Get started with Script Kiddies

Open your Kiddie by proving that you own its NFT. Signing in doesn't create or fund a trading wallet.

Before you begin

You need:

  • A wallet that holds a Script Kiddies NFT. There is no sign-up list: holding an activated Kiddie is the whole requirement.
  • That Kiddie activated at tier 5 on scriptkiddies.com/desk. Activation burns $KIDDIES once and stays with the Kiddie until it changes hands. Early-access testers who joined before this requirement keep access until the date the app shows them in chat, then need tier 5 like everyone else.
  • A browser with a compatible Ethereum wallet connection. On a phone, use your wallet's browser if your regular browser doesn't expose the wallet connection.
  • Your Kiddie's token ID, if the app doesn't list it. This is its NFT number, not a wallet address.

The app is at app.scriptkiddies.com. Check the site address before connecting or signing.

  1. In Script Kiddies, select Connect wallet.
  2. In your wallet, choose the address that holds your Kiddie and approve the connection.
  3. Select your Kiddie. The list shows each Kiddie's tier; one below tier 5 is dimmed and can't open an agent until you activate it. If your Kiddie isn't listed, enter its number in Or enter a token id, then select Open.
  4. If your wallet asks to add or switch to Robinhood Chain, review and approve the network request.
  5. Review the sign-in message. Confirm that the site address and wallet account match, then sign it.
  6. Wait for the chat to open while your Kiddie wakes.

The sign-in request is a message signature, not a blockchain transaction. It doesn't spend gas, transfer tokens, or give the trading wallet funds. Cancel any unexpected transaction or token-approval request during sign-in.

Your first verified Kiddie becomes associated with your wallet's agent. If you hold several Kiddies, choose the one you want to use before signing. Opening another NFT later doesn't switch the agent; the app names the Kiddie it answers to.

Boot up a Kiddie for the first time

A Kiddie that has never been opened shows a boot-up screen instead of the chat. Select Boot it up. The app creates a private machine for your Kiddie, with its own disk where everything it learns about you is kept, and shows each step as it happens. This takes about a minute and happens once; after that your Kiddie wakes in a second or two.

If a step doesn't complete, the screen names it and offers Check on it, which tries again from what was already created. See Troubleshoot sign-in if it keeps failing.

You don't install software or manage a server. The app creates and runs the agent for you.

Send your first message

  1. In chat, enter a request, such as “What can you help me do today?”
  2. Select Send.
  3. Read the response and any follow-up question. If your Kiddie builds a cyberdeck or attaches a report, open it from the same workspace.

Your Kiddie might inspect its available tools before answering. Funding isn't a prerequisite for a conversation or a dashboard.

Find your way around

Chat is where you give instructions and ask questions. Cyberdecks are small dashboards your Kiddie builds for your tasks.

On wider screens, chat and the deck panel appear together. On smaller screens, select Chat or Decks to switch views. The wallet control shows your connected account, and the Kiddie number identifies the agent you're using.

The holdings deck is the home deck. A starter deck might also be present. Starter or demonstration data isn't evidence of a real balance or completed work.

Return later

Open the app again and sign in if requested. Your conversation history and decks load again; if the chat opens with “reading your history…”, your Kiddie's machine is waking up and the conversation appears within a few seconds. You don't need to repeat wallet setup each time.

To end your app session, select the connected wallet control, then select Disconnect. Disconnecting doesn't erase saved work or stop an authorized background strategy. See Disconnect and stop work.

Next: Chat and personalize your Kiddie.
